Alexandra Henry

Alexandra Henry is an award winning needle artist. She has been an avid quilter and needle artist since childhood. Her first quilt, made when she was 5 years old, was a crazy quilt. She also paints watercolors, portraits and pen and ink drawings. Alexandra designed needlework, including pulled thread and hardangar designs for many years before she started producing her own quilt patterns and books. She incorporates needlework in many of her quilt designs. Alexandra uses many Pellon® products, including fusible interfacing for clothing, Wonder-Web® and Wonder-Under® for applique, tear-away and fusible stabilizers for machine embroidery and Legacy™ by Pellon® Batting for quilts. She loves the quality, ease of use, and flexibility of Pellon® products.

Alexandra started teaching needlework and quilting while in her twenties and has taught classes all over the country. She is currently teaching at the local quilt shop in her community.
